PRODUCTIONS
Established
in 1989, Grand Productions has provided superior production and post production
services to the entertainment industry.
Currently,
Grand Productions produces “The Global Investors Report” with Emmy award winning
host, Michael Jackson. “The Global Investors Report” is a half hour program broadcast
in Europe and seen on CNBC in the United States, with over 50 shows completed.
Grand
Productions is also currently producing “Ghost Stories". The show travels
on location to the most intriguing haunted locations accross the country including:
Bodie Ghost Town, The Waverly House, The Victorian Rose and The Vogue Theater.
In 1998,
Grand Productions completed over 40 shows for “Morton Downey, Jr’s Discover Wall
Street”. As well, Grand Productions produced a :60 second national commercial
for The American Cancer Association promoting “The March” against cancer, also
with Morton Downey, Jr.
Grand
Productions creative leadership is driven by owner, John Preston. John Preston
started directing for ABC in 1986 and was soon requested by industry and corporate
companies to direct and pro
duce over
150 television shows, specials and commercials. Recognition of his new and innovative
ideas eventually earned him the title of Vice President of program origination
for CBS where he infused current television producing with an exciting new energy.
John is highly respected in the world of nonlinear editing, with systems knowledge
of D-Vision, Avid, Media 100, Synclavier, Digidesign Pro-Tools,Casablanca and
Trinity
John
has worked extensively with such companies as Buena Vista/Disney, MCA/Universal,
Saban Entertainment, MGM, Lorimar and Carolca.
